In the city of Alajuela you can chose between 2 cable companies! They used to have a show called "A Todo Dar" which was a live show with lots of very hot girls dancing and playing games.... all mixed in with advertisements...
Basically to get the men drooling and the women dreaming they could be so hot... and in the end buying a lot of stuff that was advertised.
Haha sounds not all too different from America's ways of advertising to a certain extent :P Are there american shows that gets shown there? Are they as up to date as it would be up here or a couple months or years behind? Heh. I know Canada are a couple episodes behind for a lot of shows that are made in America.
They have areas that also offer sattelite tv too. I am not sure what kind of American shows you would get. I wouldn't think you would get American shows, but just ones that are similar made in Costa Rica or South America.

Keep this min mind... . Some people like to call Costa Rica various things like Puerto Rico or Costa Rico. Costa
Rica translates to "Rich Coast"... check out Costa Rica. Costa Rica is also two words, not one, ie: Costarica or CostaRico. San Jose is the capitol city of Costa Rica. The San Jose International Aiport (SJO) is really located in Alajuela, Costa Rica (about 15 km from the Capital San Jose).
