Setting up a corporation

Does anyone have the name of a reputable retirement consultant and or lawyer to use in purchasing real estate and setting up a corporation in Costa Rica in the Liberia/Teleran/Arenal area?

I would suggest anytime you have someone do any corporate or other legal work in Costa Rica you subsequently and personally verify the work with the national registry, immigration, etc.

If someone makes a residency application with immigration, make sure you get a copy of the receipt from immigration with the file number. If you are not provided with that you can be pretty sure your papers have not been filed.

With corporate work, it may be difficult for them to give you the paperwork if it hasn't actually been filed, but future changes are easily not filed.

Why do you want to use a corporation? It is a lot of paperwork.
