I saw in headlines I was reading in a search engine that Costa Rica doesn't have a starbucks. Not one single Starbucks. I found that to be very amazing. Plus Starbucks is building/opening over 2400 new stores in 2007, none of which will be built in Costa Rica. Trackbacks

Why would they have Starbucks? They have locally grown coffee and it is cheap and good.

That's what I was thinking, and Starbucks isn't really that great in the first place. Starbucks would drive other local business down to the ground, so that would be a really bad thing. Also Starbucks probably would be too expensive?

I think Starbucks would be laughed at. Nobody would pay their prices for coffee. If you want to find out the truth about coffee... buy a coffee finca in Cost Rica. Then you'll know for sure how much the ones that do the REAL WORK to make a cup of coffee get paid for it!
