I want to have cosmetic surgery done in Costa Rico. How can I research doctors and find out which are excellent and which have had lawsuits and complaints against them?

If you have some names I can do some research about the doctors that do cosmetic surgery.

I know of a couple of surgeons that do good work.

You can contact me for more information.

I had cosmetic surgery and had a treatment called oxy-mist. It is an oxygen treatment for faster healing and it really works. I was healed in a few days.It is the best program for post op. healing.

Check out the Rosenstock-Lieberman Clinic in San JOse. Dr Cohen and Dr Rashi are absolutely the Best. The recovery places are wonderful. Las Cumbres and Ana Carmona's. I leave this Thursday for Costa Rica.

I want to have plastic surgery in Costa Rico. I am considering top and bottom eyes and also a mini tummy tuck. I do not want a full tummy tuck since I only have a little bit of loose skin, the muscles are very right. Any suggestions? I am a little learey of traveling to another country without knowing the Doctor or being able to talk to former patients.

Thank for any info,Maryanne

what doctor that is well recommended for this type of procedure .Please e-mail me his address and what consultation can he advise me before I can have this procedure.

I am interested in having a tummy tuck. My clothes would fit properly if I had this procedure done. I have to wear baggy clothes that can fit over my stomach. Currently I have to buy my jeans 2 sizes larger to fit over my pot belly. This causes my jeans to sag in the thigh area. Please advise if you know a reliable surgeon.

Has anybody had lasik surgery in Costa Rica and who would you recommend? I was given two names but one price is $1000 and the price for the other surgeon is $1600 for both eyes. I was just wondering if I get what I pay for.

I have been to Costa Rica for plastic surgery twice and am returning again in August. If anyone is interested you can find a wonderful message board by many patients who share their experiences there and will offer lots of great advise and information on doctors and recovery retreats at :

Keep this min mind... . Some people like to call Costa Rica various things like Puerto Rico or Costa Rico. Costa Rica translates to "Rich Coast"... check out Costa Rica. Costa Rica is also two words, not one, ie: Costarica or CostaRico. San Jose is the capitol city of Costa Rica. The San Jose International Aiport (SJO) is really located in Alajuela, Costa Rica (about 15 km from the Capital San Jose).
