Residency dual citizen

I was born in Costa Rica in 1962 to two US citizens. I have both a Costa Rica birth certificate and a US State Dept certificate.

Would the Costa Rican government still consider me a citizen for residency or to purchase property? Any idea where I could find an answer?

Chris:

You are entitled to apply for a cédula de identidad which is the Costarrican Id for citizens.

You must come to Costa Rica to do this, I have dual citizenship also ad you will not lose citizenship from either country.

There is not a person who can frown upon something as magnificent as dual citizenship. To be such a person, this is a thing to be called very much worthless.

Thank author of this post/comment"Dual National"

How can you use the word "worthless" in a sentence along with "dual national".

Dual nationality gives one more flexibility.

Poor man's paradise

Keep this min mind... . Some people like to call Costa Rica various things like Puerto Rico or Costa Rico. Costa Rica translates to "Rich Coast"... check out Costa Rica. Costa Rica is also two words, not one, ie: Costarica or CostaRico. San Jose is the capitol city of Costa Rica. The San Jose International Aiport (SJO) is really located in Alajuela, Costa Rica (about 15 km from the Capital San Jose). Have you added a link to us from your website? (3671288623):
