Depending on your background, it may be a shock. Lot of young married couples and families seem to be closed to only the inner family circle. It's difficult, from my perspective. Try to go out and learn the culture and people.

I talked to a young lady that taught school there for a year and she could'nt wait to get back to the states. Seems the men are very vocal and will let you know if they find you atractive.

There you have to be careful with men ...they're some "Hello Girl"/ constan all day and that bother women.

But is a nice and good place to live and have future.

My name is Mark, I'm coming down to the Limon, Cahuita area in about a week or two. I'm looking for a nice single lady to show me all the hot spots and have some fun site seeing and more.
