Short-wave reception is good in San Jose. The country has more than 80 commercial radio stations, almost half of them FM stations. Several broadcast in stereo, and a few offer regular classical music programming.
Twelve TV stations operate in San Jose, broadcasting in color and offering local news and entertainment programs, plus U.S. programs dubbed in Spanish. Cable television is available in most parts of San Jose, including the areas where most Americans live. Service is available on a monthly or bi-annual subscription basis and English-language programs from the U.S. include ABC, NBC, FOX and CBS networks, ESPN sports programming, several “superstations,” two movie channels, and CNN news programs.

Get Satellite TV and you'll almost be like living at home! Cable isn't too bad either and gives you a taste of a few local channels as well.

All the men loved "A todo dar" but I don't think it is broadcast anymore. Does anyone know for sure?

As long as they have discovery and national geographic I'm fine with it.

Those might be seen in Costa Rica on cable tv... but are hardly Costa Rican TV channels or programs.

I also like national geographic. It is so cool, with that channel i have watched different stories on wildlife issues. I learned new species of animals. I felt like I also belong to the wild. Imagining those things happen and that you are a part of the show, it so exciting. Sometimes you can spot shows featuring people with unusual traits like the tree man and those conjoined twins in India.
