Eep, I have never gone to Costa Rica, but I am supposed to come back to visit with my friend who is from there and is visiting me soon. I'm supposed to fly back with her.. I'll remember not to eat any fries. Interesting how she never mentioned that to me before...

Maybe you were at the wrong fast food chain at the wrong time. Maybe you are generalizing so much on the quality of French Fries in Costa Rica. You kept on comparing the Mc Donald's french fries to the Costa Rican fries. There might be some small ray of hope that somewhere out there in Costa Rica, there is this decent fast food which offers your much craved and quality fries.

You are a serious dreamer... Tofu... I think if they slapped some tofu on a plate and called it french fries, they'd be ahead in the game!
