We assist with the many problems one faces in changing countries. We have two lawyers who assist in any of the many needed legal processes, the rest we take care of. Looking for a home, advise on what neighborhoods are safe where to buy cars how to do background checks on potential employees and many other routine chores made more difficult being in a foriegn country.

Marty, I have never been to Costa Rica are there a lot of doctors there with expired or no license? As for everyone else looking for jobs in Costa Rica as doctors I would go on a search engine such as www.google.com and type in something like Costa Rica + Doctor jobs. You will find websites with online job applications or maybe some website with information on jobs or how to get one there.
I also agree with what Jennifer has said, and if you can not find what your looking for online than I would try looking in a local newspaper there, to see what kind of jobs they have available.

I believe these said "professionals" belongs to the batch of those people who are new to the internet because they completely rely on forums and not on official employment giving websites. Please take time to explore the worldwide web for more resources and resource because almost everything can now be found in the internet.

So you are old and worn out and want to beat some poor Costa Rican out of his Medical practice.Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Good luck, You all are not even a citizen there. Do you think you can just park your fat American Ass down there and take away their good paying patients. It is not goint to happen for you. They have many laws to protect them selvs from you corn holers.
Yout friend the Tico

Besides... why would you go from a $100, 000+ a year job in the USA to $100 a month if your lucky in Costa Rica.... maybe you were kicked out of medical practice in the USA?
Pretty interesting why everyone is seeking to travel to Costa Rica. What is so good there anyway? From the look of things just look for a job where you are.Why leave the USA to Costa Rica.. I doubt if looking for greener pastures is your key idea. I suggest you doctors go into private practice in your native countries. Think about the many laws and how long you will take to adapt in a new country
Comment #21 pale_o (63.176.159.83) -
Why not deal with the expired license then get information regarding all the immigrant requirements for Bolivia? I am pretty sure it might be difficult locating a job in Costa Rica considering there are more jobless gynecologists there. Again, how much experience do you have.
Getting into private practice and offering consultancy might be the best way to go. Also depends on what led to the license expiring. Opportunities should be plenty depending on how you will sell yourself. I am sure there is a lot you will bring on board too.
From what I have gathered, nursing jobs are the ones on demand. The fact of the matter is that there is a shortfall of medics in many countries..
I have to agree with cwemoy. Why prefer Costa Rica for a medical jobs when you can go to U.S. instead. Well i think though based on so many hearsay that it is best to go to country like canada or japan if you are inclined in medical field and searching for a job. Well i myself would prefer to go for Canada. But still, it depends on to where you would want to go.
Well I people might be all probably prefer Costa Rica here in this thread because this thread is about Costa Rica. If you wanted to promote medical employment and why not to leave the United States then start your own forum and boast the egotistic powers of the United states. All I am saying that this thread is about why retirees, employees, or expats prefer Costa Rica and not some thread on why not to.
