If you are looking to gain residency and would like a safe solid investment return we have a project worthy of your attention. If you do not qualify as a pensionado and you do not like the idea of parking $60,000 usd in a low return bank account a better solution would be investing in a tourism project. With an investment of $100,000 usd in a condo project you can earn $1250 a month in rental income, qualify for your residency and hold an appreciating investment in the biggest and fastest growing beach community in the country. For further details simply request such.
Is it possible to get a mortgage for the investment or does it need to be 100% cash? How long until the rental payments start? What guarantee is there the unit you invest in will produce continious rent? Has the $100,000 investment and business plan been already approved by Migracion as qualifing you for residency?
No you can't mortgage to qualify for inversionista status it would kind of defeat the purpose. You can mortgage 70% of the value of units just like any other real estate to simply purchase a unit. Revenue would start as soon as a unit is complete and ready to enter the rental pool. Our projections are based on average occupancy of rooms over the entire country but we can guarantee that our occupancy will exceed average due to the design and management of a larger project. The project meets all the criteria for inversionista status and ICT approval.

Anyone even thinking of dealing with this person Trevor Chilton...I would suggest forgeting you ever seen his name and if you see anything involving him you can be assured its a scam. Run away!!!
Well "Honesty Pays" your comments are interesting but hardly of much value. At the top of every page on this site the caution is advised that "anyone can post anything." This post is a clear proof of that. I post both my name and e-mail so that anyone can directly contact me yet "Honesty Pays" puts nothing other than this slander which more than calls into question their honesty. They obvously don't understand the laws here regarding such but then of course they are most likely many countries away and would not know that or anything else about Costa Rica for that matter to make a comment that is of any interest to any of the readers that is more qualified than this drivel.
Looks like someone is just jealous that Trevor appears to create success for himself.
If nothing else the quality of the responses Trevor makes here and on other boards is of great help to many.

I think Mr. Chilton is right "Honesty Pays", and besides what makes you think that he scams people?

Keep this min mind... . Some people like to call Costa Rica various things like Puerto Rico or Costa Rico. Costa
Rica translates to "Rich Coast"... check out Costa Rica. Costa Rica is also two words, not one, ie: Costarica or CostaRico. San Jose is the capitol city of Costa Rica. The San Jose International Aiport (SJO) is really located in Alajuela, Costa Rica (about 15 km from the Capital San Jose).
