'Did they release the PS3 in Costa Rica?' Entertainment

I know here in the United States, the PS3 was the hot selling item this past week. Did they release some to be sold in Costa Rica? I would be curious to know how much they cost there too.

Consumer electronics have an import tax of about 100% (computer are now more like 12%). Cars were 100% but they changed is so newer cars are a little less.

Forget about PS3! Wii is where it's allll at! LOL! It looks so strange, Wii, i don't know how i'll get used to it.

I saw the Wii in a store yesterday and it has no appeal to me. I won't buy either of them until I hear some really positive reviews. The 360 started out very rocky. They had so many system problems, I just can't see why people would jump all over the PS3 and Wii.

With so much nature to explore and enjoy in Costa Rica why do you want to worry about video games!?!?!?!

I dont think it would be in your best interest to purchase a ps3 while in costa rica, Because as the old grump said the import tax will have you paying double for the system you might be better off searching ebay for used systems. Of course if youd like you can pay double.
