I have heard that Dominical has one of the best surf schools in Costa Rica. There are no paved roads in this town. And, it isn't a huge tourist destination so it is fairly quiet. I am now thinking about visiting Dominical. Are there some good restaurants and hotels there?

I just returned from Dominical, I have spent 4 weeks there in the last two months, it is a surfers paradise, the waves are constant. I was married on the beach in front of Rocke Verde a small restuarant and discotecha on Sunday March the 25th.

They have some great restuarants in Dominical, Cuna De Angel is considerd 4 Stars, La Parsalas is beautiful and located on the point and has great views and a nice breeze.

Just be ready, it is HOT!!! People are great. You might want to check out the Necochea Inn, Ivonne is the best hostess in the whole world.

Keep this min mind... . Some people like to call Costa Rica various things like Puerto Rico or Costa Rico. Costa Rica translates to "Rich Coast"... check out Costa Rica. Costa Rica is also two words, not one, ie: Costarica or CostaRico. San Jose is the capitol city of Costa Rica. The San Jose International Aiport (SJO) is really located in Alajuela, Costa Rica (about 15 km from the Capital San Jose).
