| hi i'm moving to the northwest pacific and i'm thinking about buying a volkswagen van instead of a 4x4.I've taken mine up and down our canadian mountains with no worries.Anyone else driven one in costa rica with some advice for me.Where's a good place to buy a newer 1972 old style van? cheers |
| I would not recommend a vw van for the northwest part of costa rica..you need something with a lot of clearance...as you go thru rivers and over huge rocks and potholes....tough suspension and lots of clearance...thats the ticket g |
| There is the way that is advertised on television, and thats www.cars.com so I guess you could try that out, and let me know how it is, maybe I would be able to get a car from there as well. |
