I am planning a wedding in Fortuna, Costa Rica on May 1st 2005. I need contacts for a local photographer. If you can suggest anything, please do.

Thank you,

Misty

I am researching whether wine is or can be grown in Costa Rica and where. I can't seem to find anything referring to Costa Rican wine or any indications that it can't be grown. Which I find very hard to believe based on the rich climate zones available in Costa Rica.

Any assistance would be appreciated..

Thanks,

Ron

Yes, there is wine made in Costa Rica. Some not far from the city of Alajuela.

La Gartia is the place Bill. Maybe a 10 min drive from Alajuela. I think you can buy the wine is any of the supermarkets or drive out and visit the winery. While your out that way visit Zoo Ave, the Bird Zoo.

Costa Rican's aren't generally into wine and many aren't aware of the Costa Rican wines.

Keep this min mind... . Some people like to call Costa Rica various things like Puerto Rico or Costa Rico. Costa Rica translates to "Rich Coast"... check out Costa Rica. Costa Rica is also two words, not one, ie: Costarica or CostaRico. San Jose is the capitol city of Costa Rica. The San Jose International Aiport (SJO) is really located in Alajuela, Costa Rica (about 15 km from the Capital San Jose).
